The Caribbean in Motion film series includes five films all of them curated or directed by women and the West Coast premieres of Hero, Double Play, and Moving in Place. The film series is a combination of documentaries and fiction narratives that examines the various legacies of a region known for its history of slavery, colonialism, migration and resistance. Cornelius Moore joins host, Walter Turner to discuss the upcoming series. Moore has been a co director California Newsreel and is working with the San Francisco Museum of the African Diaspora ( MoAD).
